You dont need to put the wire inside the plant; you need to create an antenna. Therefore, take a stick, wrap the copper wire around it, and insert one part of the wire into the ground and leave another part in the air. This should be done every 3 meters, inserting it in the area adjacent to the plants. This is how electroculture works. ua-cam.com/users/shorts5qBU51lLQiY?si=EiQ45FqVG5cpq-ur

Sorry but: if you can afford a house and a terrain as big as yours: you're not in any danger to starve. The people who could use these crops are poorer people that live in cities and guess what: they don't have the space to grow stupid crops.

at this point you should have pulled the whole thing down and rebuild it with the plastic posts and a new lumber or more posts. this "fix" isn't going to hold either and will need a new investment of at least more time to patch it again. quoting thanos here, but the hardest decisions require the strongest will. yes pulling it down and rebuilding is a lot of work but its an investment of time that won't have to be made for many years.

The Three Sisters: corn, bean, and squash - support one another VERY well when grown together, and are on your list separately. Growing them together saves a lot of space. They're my favorites to grow! I usually have too much of those three every year, its amazing. I'm going to grow cabbage this year as well thanks to your recc, that seems super easy with the netting :)

BUT THE BENNEFITS ARE SO GOOD I love wacthing all the bird life come to my garden and the lizards. Have found larfe frogs and toads not cane toads and I HAVE VERY HAPPY BEEZ THAT VISIT EVERY SUMMER. i love the way new life comes from a seed.

I have grown sweet potatoes last year but the growing season was short and I got not many so maybe its not the right one for Melb. Australia. Years ago I grew some in an old apple box and had heaps but the weather down this way is cooler in spring then what it used to be. My sister and both love your program.

Do you have a fenced yard? If not, do you have roos visiting your garden? We have no fence, and lots of roos visiting regularly. I’m only growing food up high on the veranda at the moment, because I’m worried they’ll eat all my veggies if I plant in the yard. I planted asparagus in my yard, and they’ve been attacking that. I have a huge yard, and would love to find a way to deter them, before we’re able to get fencing

The best food will be birds. In the U.S. small game rifles for rabbits, birds and small animals is invaluable. Combine wild game with home grown crops and you've got a decent bit of food.

Thank you for the videos over the years, my garden has grow from 1 small raised bed to 3 large (4'X8'X30") and 6 small (3'X7'X24") and several containers for potatoes. Watching you build and correct things you could have done better have greatly benefited my boys and I as we get deeper into be self sufficient. On a different note, I tend to judge the quality of my soil by the earth worms present, I run a tree care service and fill the bases of my beds with wood chips (mulch). Each year I tend to add 2 parts topsoil, 1 part cow manure, and 1 part peat moss, then throw blood meal and bone meal in, and mix. I figure if I'm attracting worms and night crawlers, I'm doing something right.
